The aim of this study is to analyze the phenomenon of early school leaving (ESL) among the migrant population within the Spanish educational context. Through a systematic review of the scientific literature published in recent years, the main factors influencing this phenomenon have been identified, as well as the most effective pedagogical strategies and public policies for preventing it. The PRISMA methodology is used to ensure the quality and transparency of this research, based on a structured search of scientific articles. Twenty-eight relevant studies were selected based on PICOT strategies. The results reveal that ESL responds to multiple and interrelated causes, influenced by both personal factors (such as gender, mother tongue, or academic self-esteem) and contextual factors (socioeconomic status, family structure, school relationships, and institutional barriers). It also highlights the need for educational interventions focused on inclusion, emotional support, and student participation, as well as updated and contextualized public policies that address the structural causes of dropout. In conclusion, the study underscores the importance of adopting a comprehensive and intersectoral approach to understanding and addressing early school leaving among the migrant population, highlighting the need to continue exploring this field from more specific and empirical perspectives
