La empleabilidad femenina en países en vías de desarrollo es un tema de gran relevancia en la actualidad, que ha atraído la atención de investigadores de diversas disciplinas. Sin embargo, persisten importantes vacíos que justifican la realización de una bibliometría exhaustiva en este campo. Por lo tanto, el objetivo es examinar las tendencias investigativas sobre empleabilidad femenina en países en vías de desarrollo. Se propone un análisis bibliométrico basado en la declaración PRISMA-2020. En los años 2016, 2018, 2020 y 2022, se registró un aumento significativo en la producción de artículos científicos sobre este tema. El autor Van Den Brock G destacó por su alta productividad y la calidad de sus investigaciones, equilibrando cantidad y calidad. Además, se observó una evolución temática que incluyó conceptos como “Costos de oportunidad”. Se observa que entre las tendencias investigativas se tiene un creciente enfoque en conceptos emergentes, como “Planificación familiar”, “Educación”, “Desigualdad de género” y “Leyes”.
The employability of women in developing countries is a topic of great relevance today, which has attracted the attention of researchers from various disciplines. However, there are still important gaps that warrant an exhaustive bibliometric study in this area. Therefore, the objective is to examine research trends on women’s employability in developing countries. A bibliometric analysis based on the PRISMA-2020 statement is proposed. In the years 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022, there was a significant increase in the production of scientific articles on this topic. The author Van Den Brock G stands out for his high productivity and the quality of his research, balancing quantity and quality. In addition, a thematic evolution was observed that included concepts such as “opportunity costs”. Among the research trends, there is an increasing focus on emerging concepts such as “family planning”, “education”, “gender inequality” and “laws”.
