Este artículo es el resultado del análisis del proceso electoral que se inicia con las internas partidarias realizadas el 18 de diciembre de 2022 en Paraguay y concluye en las elecciones presidenciales del 30 de abril de 2023, identificando un claro liderazgo nacional del Partido Colorado, que suma una nueva victoria electoral de poderío administrativo desde el inicio de la era democrática. Por el contrario, la oposición no logra articularse en un bloque que capte el voto ciudadano para la administración del país. Estas elecciones demostraron que cuando el principal candidato opositor al poder no convence, el elector busca otra alternativa que represente su red motivacional del voto, presente en esta elección en el descontento ciudadano con el ejercicio de la representación que no ha dado respuestas a sus expectativas.
This article is the result of the analysis of the electoral process that begins with the internal party elections held on December 18, 2022 in Paraguay and concludes in the presidential elections of April 30, 2023, identifying a clear national leadership of the Colorado Party, that adds a new electoral victory of administrative power since the beginning of the democratic era. On the contrary, the opposition fails to articulate in a bloc that captures the citizen vote for the administration of the country. These elections showed that when the main candidate opposing power is not convincing, the voter looks for another alternative that represents their motivational voting network, present in this election in citizen discontent with the exercise of representation that has not responded to their expectations
