Desde su incorporación en los procesos de desarrollo humano, la educación ha sido espectadora y protagonista de una serie de cambios, uno de ellos es la inclusión de los medios de comunicación al currículo, no sólo como herramientas didácticas, sino como aliados para el desarrollo de competencias informacionales. Este texto describe algunas posibilidades de la radio como dinamizador del currículo al lograr, a partir de estrategias didácticas, que el estudiante de educación básica y media sean partícipes de su desarrollo acompañado de la palabra y la acción crítica de su propia realidad.
Since its incorporation in the processes of human development, the education, understood in its dimension of comprehensive training, has been a spectator and protagonist of a series of positive changes especially in the teaching-learning process; one of them is the inclusion of the media as part of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) curriculum, not only as educational tools, but as great allies for the development of skills that favor access, analysis and criticizes media and also can produce them messages that are reflected their views regarding various topics. This paper aims to describe the possibilities offered media and specifically the radio as an alternative space to develop argumentative skills, which can contribute to a good academic performance and social level, the student, the latter being involved in their own development accompanied by the word and the critical action of their own reality.
