Se busca responder cómo han sido las experiencias de inmersión en la religiosidad popular de los jóvenes católicos de Tetiz. Se presta especial atención al significado que han construido en torno a la virgen de la localidad. El estudio se centra en rituales públicos. Para ello, se consideró la propuesta de Mats Alvesson y Kaj Sköldberg relativa al enfoque de la hermenéutica alética, en la que convergen cuestiones relacionadas con la raíz de la existencia humana. De esta forma, es posible comprender el valor y significado que los teticeños otorgan a los actos representativos de su religión, mismos que fueron compilados a partir de entrevistas a profundidad. Entre los hallazgos resalta el peso notorio que tiene la familia en el involucramiento de los jóvenes en este tipo de experiencias.
This article addresses the question: how have the experiences of immersion in popular religiosity of the young Catholics of Tetiz been? Paying special attention to the meaning that they have built around the local virgin. The focus of the study are the public rituals. To achieve the objective, the proposal of Mats Alvesson and Kaj Sköldberg regarding the approach of alethic hermeneutics, in which questions related to the root of human existence converge, was considered. In this way, the value and meaning of the actions of the young Teticeños regarding their involvement in represen tative to their religiosity, were compiled from in-depth interviews. In the findings, the notorious weight that the family has in the plunge of young people into the popular Teticeña Catholic religiosity stands out.
