The general objective of the paper is to analyze which bodies inhabit the honor rolls of the first seven law schools in Brazil, having as a standard the granting of the title of Doctor Honoris Causa. The chosen research universe were the Law courses of USP, UFPE, UFBA, UFRJ, UFMG, UFG and UFRGS, as they are the most consolidated and prestigious spaces for research, teaching, extension and professionalization in the legal area. The data approach was mixed, given that the data collection technique was relatedto documental research and the data analysis technique was based on content analysis. Regarding the result, we noticed that the majority of the awarded people with the title of Doctor Honoris Causaby the academic units and approved by the respective University Councils are male, white, with legal and European training, which reveals an important dimension of exclusion that is integral to the legal world and its habitus, as understood by Pierre Bourdieu
O objetivo geral do trabalho é analisar quais corpos habitam os quadros de honra das sete primeiras faculdades de Direito no Brasil, tendo por critério a concessão do título de Doutor Honoris Causa. O universo de pesquisa eleito foram os cursos de Direito da USP, UFPE, UFBA, UFRJ, UFMG, UFG e UFRGS, por se tratar dos espaços mais consolidados e prestigiados de pesquisa, ensino, extensão e profissionalização na área jurídica. A abordagem dos dados foi mista, dado que a técnica de coleta de dados se relacionou à pesquisa documental e a técnica de análise de dados se deu mediante análise de conteúdo. Em relação ao resultado, percebemos que a maioria das pessoas agraciadas com o título de Doutor Honoris Causapelas unidades acadêmicas e aprovadas pelos respectivos Conselhos Universitários são masculinas, brancas, de formação jurídica e europeias, o que revela uma importante dimensão de exclusão integrante do mundo jurídico e seu habitus, conforme compreendido por Pierre Bourdieu.
