Inventariar y evaluar los atractivos naturales de la Reserva Florística Manejada Monte Natural Cupaynicú constituye el objetivo principal de esta investigación. Para alcanzarlo se examinan siete atractivos naturales y cinco rutas de senderos propuestas para el desarrollo del turismo de naturaleza. Por medio de distintas metodologías se valoraron los senderos existentes mediante el inventario de los recursos del área, la clasificación, jerarquización y evaluación tanto de los atractivos naturales existentes y la adición de dos nuevos detectados al realizar el trabajo de campo. También se evaluaron los accesos y el estado que guarda el área protegida. Para proponer dos nuevas rutas de senderos y la eliminación de las cinco existentes por presentar problemas asociados con su diseño y vinculación con los atractivos. Esta propuesta final será incorporada al Programa de Uso Público y al Plan de Manejo del área protegida.
Inventorying and evaluating the natural attractions of the Managed Floristic Reserve Monte Natural Cupaynicú constitutes the main objective of this paper. To achieve this, a study of seven natural attractions and five trails proposed for the development of nature tourism was carried out. With the analysis and implementation of various methodologies, the existing trails were evaluated through the inventory of area values, classification, hierarchy and evaluation; both of the existing natural attractions plus two new attractions detected in the study were carried out, including accesses and their status within the protected area. Finally, two new trails were proposed and the removal of the five previously existing ones due to problems associated with their design and linkage with the attractions. This final proposal was approved and will be incorporated into the Public Use Program and the Protected Area Management Plan.
