En el marco de las necesidades que enfrentan las organizaciones por entornos cada vez más competitivos, inestables y de alta incertidumbre, se realiza una revisión cienciométrica y bibliométrica del concepto de Ambiente Laboral entre los años 1975 a 2021, que considera 4.241 artículos publicados en la base de datos Web of Science, apoyado por las técnicas de mapeo de visualización de similitudes del paquete de software VOSviewer (versión 1.6.15) desarrollado por Van Eck y Waltman (2020). Identificando los artículos más citados, los autores más influyentes, las revistas con mayor reconocimiento en el tema, las instituciones y los países que más productividad e impacto han tenido. Los resultados permitieron evidenciar crecimiento lineal y sustentable en los últimos años de la producción científica, mostrando que existen líneas potenciales de desarrollo para este tema cada vez más estratégico. La principal contribución de esta investigación es identificar la etapa de desarrollo del constructo como una herramienta útil para la comunidad profesional, abordando la hermenéutica para establecer aportes que contribuyan al desarrollo epistemológico para ofrecer una discusión actualizada sobre ambiente laboral, proporcionando perspectivas para futuras investigaciones.
Within the framework of the needs that organizations face due to increasingly competitive, unstable and highly uncertain environments, a scientometric and bibliometric review of the concept of Work Environment is carried out between the years 1975 to 2021, considering 4,241 articles published in the database of Web of Science data, supported by similarity visualization mapping techniques of the VOSviewer software package (version 1.6.15.) developed by Van Eck and Waltman (2020). Identifying the most cited articles, the most influential authors, the journals with the greatest recognition on the subject, the institutions and countries that have had the most productivity and impact. The results showed linear and sustainable growth in recent years of scientific production, showing that there are potential lines of development for this increasingly strategic topic. The main contribution of this research is to identify the stage of development of the construct as a useful tool for the professional community, addressing hermeneutics to establish contributions that contribute to epistemological development to offer an updated discussion on the work environment, providing perspectives for future research.
