A partir del análisis de recepción de tres generaciones de telespectadores -que vivieron el golpe de Estado, que crecieron en dictadura y que crecieron en democracia-, de las series ficcionales emitidas en televisión abierta en el contexto de la conmemoración de los 40 años del golpe de Estado en Chile, nos preguntamos por el tipo de memorias sobre ese pasado que construye cada una de las generaciones consideradas, las distinciones que realizan hombres y mujeres y sus emociones. De acuerdo con nuestras entrevistas (24) y grupos focales (6) observamos que la experiencia vivida en relación con la dictadura impacta diferenciadamente en sus lecturas de acuerdo con su género y su generación; que la construcción de las memorias individuales y colectivas están vinculadas con su ciclo de vida.
Based on the reception analysis of three generations of viewers -who lived through the coup d'etat, who grew up in dictatorship and grew up in democracy-, of the fictional series broadcast on open television in the context of the commemoration After the 40 years of the coup d'etat in Chile, we asked ourselves about the type of memories about that past that each of the generations considered builds, the distinctions that men and women make and their emotions. According to our interviews (24) and focus groups (6), we observed that the experience lived in relation to the dictatorship impacts their reading differently according to their gender and generation; that the construction of individual and collective memories is linked to their life cycle.
