The semantics of human rights, in view of the premises of the systemic pragmatics of Luhmann, can be observed also as a certain self-reflection of the legal system in the form of its selfdescription. Therefore, based on the aforementioned premise, the objective of this work is to make an observation that explains a description of human rights in a different way. Thus, we seek to question in the present work whether it is possible to explain based on the Luhmannian systemic pragmatic assumption that the concepts of human rights would be linked to a contingent self-descriptive realization of the system of law, in the sense of concluding that it is an important communicational semantics that it even makes invisible the paradox of the legal system.
A semântica dos direitos humanos, tendo em vista as premissas da pragmática sistêmica de Luhmann, permite ser observada também como certa autorreflexão do sistema jurídico na forma da sua autodescrição. Portanto, partindo do referido pressuposto metodológico, objetiva-se no presente trabalho a realização de uma observação que explicite uma descrição dos direitos humanos de um modo diferente. Assim, procura-se questionar se é possível explicitar com base no pressuposto pragmático sistêmico que os conceitos de direitos humanos estariam ligados a uma operação autodescritiva contingencial do sistema do direito, no sentido de concluir que se trata de importante semântica comunicacional que possibilita até mesmo a invisibilização do paradoxo do sistema jurídico.
