This article presents a detailed study of the main steps to be taken and the aspects that must be duly considered when deciding to submit an individual communication to the Committee on the Rights of the Child. It concludes that while the opinions issued by the Committee on the Rights of the Child are indeed restorative and reparative in nature, addressing violations of the rights suffered by children and adolescents on a personal basis, their contribution also helps to improve and expand international human rights law. Similarly, it is evident that this type of resolution from the Committee is having a low level of awareness and permeability in regional and national systems.
