L’article presenta un panorama de la narrativa juvenil catalana entre els anys 2000 i 2025. Un període en què destaca l’augment del nombre d’escriptors que s’han dedicat al conreu de novel·les i, en grau menor, de contes. Si bé encara es mantenen en actiu noms procedents de les darreres dècades del segle passat, és molt significativa la incorporació d’una nova fornada d’autors que, en bona part, procedeixen de la narrativa d’adults. Altres aspectes que es tracten a l’article són, d’una banda, el paper que han tingut les editorials, les col·leccions i els premis literaris durant aquests anys i, de l’altra, les tendències i les temàtiques predominants en la narrativa. El comentari sintètic d’una sèrie de novel·les publicades al llarg dels primers vint-i-cinc anys d’aquest segle, representatives de les diverses tendències i temàtiques, serveix per a exemplificar el que s’hi ha anat exposant.
This paper presents an overview on Catalan young adult fiction between the years 2000 and 2025. In this period, the increase of writers dedicated to novels and, to a lesser degree, short stories stands out. While some names from the last decades of the last century are still active, it is worth noting the significant incorporation of new authors who mainly come from adult narrative. Other aspects addressed in the paper are, on the one hand, the role of publishing houses, collections and literary awards during these years and, on the other hand, the outstanding trends and themes in narrative. The synthetic commentary of a series of novels published throughout the first twenty-five years of this century, representative of the various trends and themes, is useful for exemplifying what has been exposed.
