There was no news about the Gothic-Mudejar building of this church, prior to the current one from 1758, as indicated by Sevillian historians from the 19th century, which is when the artistic bibliography of this city began. Through documents consulted in various archives we have been able to have an idea of its physiognomy, preparing a sketch of its floor plan, which specifies the locations of the various chapels, altarpieces, wall paintings and canvases. We also indicated in another sketch the location of the medieval temple in relation of the medieval temple in relation to the baroque building, wich was rotated 90º. On the other hand, we document a large part of its artistic heritage from the 16th century until 1752, when it was demolished. Many of these pieces have disappeared, preserving medieval images, as well as baroque sculptures and paintings from the 17th century and first the 17th century and first half of the 18th century.
