n En el artículo se indaga en la identidad de los miembros de una familia, de apellido Aspes, inscritos en el claustro de la que fue catedral de Roda de Isábena y se identifica entre ellos a Eligsenda, una de las cuatro mujeres que hay entre las más de doscientas personas cuyos nombres componen el conjunto epigráfico de la catedral. Se comentan las donaciones que realizaron a ciertas instituciones eclesiásticas y se citan algunos acontecimientos relevantes del Aragón del siglo xiii en los que participaron. Con ello se trata de reivindicar la memoria de los miembros de la familia ocho siglos después de que los lapicidas del scriptorium rotense labraron sus obituarios.
This article investigates the identity of several members of a family named after Aspes, who are engraved on the cloister of the once Cathedral of Roda de Isábena. Among the members of the family emerges that of Eligsenda, one of the four women featuring among the more than two hundred names in the epigraphic collection. The article discusses the donations made by the Aspes family to a number of ecclesiastical institutions, as well as the relevant events taking place in 13th-century Aragón in which they took part. All in all, the article lays claim to the memory of the family members eight centuries after the lapicides of the scriptorium rotense craved their obituaries
