This article focuses on family holdings as a form of succession planning in the rural context. The objective is to correlate the challenging specificities of succession in rural areas with the constitution of the family holding, through the multidisciplinary perspective of the professionals participating in this research, in contrast to the literature. The study methodology used was research with a quantitative approach, at a descriptive and exploratory level, of the survey type, with a cross-sectional section. The results indicate that the possibilities of family holding can be effective for some challenging specificities involving succession in rural areas and that the perception of the professionals surveyed is in line with the literature review. The analysis must be carried out by professionals within the specific case, aware of the real patrimonial/family and productive situation.
Este artigo tem como tema a holding familiar como forma de planejamento sucessório no contexto rural. O objetivo é correlacionar as especificidades desafiadoras da sucessão no meio rural com a constituição da holding familiar, através da ótica multidisciplinar dos profissionais participantes desta pesquisa, em contraponto com a literatura. Utilizou-se como metodologia de estudo a pesquisa de abordagem quantitativa, de nível descritivo e exploratório, do tipo survey, com corte transversal. Os resultados apontam que as possibilidades da holding familiar podem ser eficazes para algumas especificidades desafiadoras que envolvem a sucessão no meio rural e que a percepção dos profissionais pesquisados vem ao encontro com a revisão de literatura. Contudo, a análise deve ser realizada por profissionais no caso concreto, a par da situação patrimonial/familiar e produtiva.
