El propósito de este artículo es analizar la dimensión emocional de la acción colectiva en la Vocacional 7, del Instituto Politécnico Nacional, durante el movimiento estudiantil de 1968 en México. Las preguntas que guían este trabajo son; ¿qué antecedentes sociopolíticos existían en la Vocacional y cómo desembocaron en un sentido de agencia que coadyuvó a la organización colectiva?, ¿cómo se construyó este actor colectivo en la escuela? y ¿qué papel desempeñaron los sentimientos en su constitución, mantenimiento y desarticulación? Se realizaron 17 entrevistas a profundidad a exestudiantes de la escuela y a militantes del movimiento, y además se llevó a cabo una revisión hemerográfica y bibliográfica. Como se verá, las emociones, en un escenario de movilización, están condicionadas por el campo de confrontación que los actores sostienen con sus adversarios, lo cual trasluce el carácter relacional y dinámico de las mismas.
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the emotional dimension of collective action in the Vocational 7, of Instituto Politécnico Nacional, during the 1968 student movement, in Mexico. The questions that guide this work are: what sociopolitical precedents existed in the Vocacional and how did they lead to a sense of agency that contributed to the collective organization? How this collective actor was built in this school; What role did feelings play in its constitution, sustaining, and disarticulation? Seventeen in-depth interviews were carried out with former students and activists of the movement of this school, in addition to both bibliographic and hemerographic review. As can be seen, emotions, in a mobilization scenario, are conditioned by the field of confrontation that the actors have with their adversaries, which reveals their relational and dynamic character.
