The canton of Gualaceo, province of Azuay-Ecuador, has stood out for its population and commercial growth, for this reason, the company Motoragsa Cía. Ltda. is located in this canton. The problem to investigate is the viability of the market and population acceptance, analyzing the factors that intervene in the process of demand at the moment of incorporating the product to the market. The objective is to carry out a market study through a congruence matrix that opens up the commercialization of wireless drills in the Gualaceo canton of the province of Azuay. The methodology has a descriptive scope with a qualitative approach and deductive method that supports a viable and effective market study to provide a solution to the problem. This study is supported by authors such as Jiménez (2006); Labarca (2008); Saavedra, Milla and Tapia (2013); Molina, González and Carbajal (2008); among others, whose contributions are relevant to the structure of this research. As a result, an open market for wireless drills can be seen on the demand for conventional drills, the population of the canton in question considers important the technical maintenance service, and sale of complementary accessories, through the after-sales process. It is concluded, according to the current conditions of the market segment, that it is feasible to commercialize wireless drills, due to the fact that there are distinctive benefits that the wireless drill has vs. the traditional one.
