From this theory we can argue that the sense of beauty or the biophilia hypothesis have very different bases from the way in which the Western tradition has dealt with them. From here, we could resume the connections between human spheres (reason, emotion/aesthetics, moral/spirituality) that our culture has broken and that are the root of the incompatibility of our civilization with its own survival and, even, with the history of Life, including Homo sapiens
