Este ensayo intenta acercarse a la problematicidad del concepto dedesobediencia civil frente a otras versiones de resistencia ciudadana yexplorar una definición integral partiendo de autores que, como Rawls,Dworkin y Habermas, le han apostado a una versión institucional de lamisma. A partir de ello, el escrito quiere defender la tesis de unajustificación constitucional de la desobediencia civil como un mecanismono solo necesario, sino legítimo de las democracias contemporáneas, enprocura de garantizar tanto la actualización permanente del textoconstitucional como la incorporación de las formas de vida alternativas ylos actores políticos disidentes.
This essay tries to approach the problematic nature of the concept ofcivil disobedience, as compared to other versions of citizen resistance.It looks for a rich definition, based in authors like Rawls, Dworkin and Habermas, who have proposed an institutional version of civildisobedience. Form that point, the text defends the thesis of aconstitutional justification of civil disobedience as a mechanism thatis not only necessary but legitimate in contemporary democracies.
