This article develops the anthropological reflections of Gabriel Marcel on availability as a necessary condition to achieve authentic wisdom, from the recognition of a founding intersubjective participation. Thus, from the cultivation of the capacity for recollection and openness to transcendence, wisdom can be rediscovered as a path of creative receptivity and fraternal hospitality, consolidating itself as an alternative to the various current dynamics of dehumanization. In this way, wisdom becomes a reference of meaning that allows not only to recognize and safeguard the sacred dignity of the human person, but also to open new horizons of community life.
