En la década de los años cincuenta del siglo XV tuvieron lugar unas banderías de señores de los somontanos de Huesca y Barbastro en el monasterio de Montearagón hasta ahora desconocidas. En 1456 el procurador del cenobio presentó una larga querella criminal contra los atacantes en la que, tras solicitar la intervención de la justicia, relataba detalladamente los sucesos que se produjeron. In the 1450s, in hitherto unknown incidents, the armed bands of feudal lords in the low mountain country around Huesca and Barbastro attacked the monastery of Montearagón. In 1456 the procurator of the monastery presented a lengthy criminal case against the attackers, requesting legal intervention and describing the events in detail. This article contains a transcription of the document and commentary on some of its most notable aspects.
