Con motivo del X Aniversario del conflicto libio con el consiguiente derrocamiento de Muamar el Gadafi se trata de analizar desde el punto de vista de la teoría de la guerrra justa y de la responsabilidad de proteger, la actuación de la coalición internacional y de la OTAN en virtud de las resoluciones del Consejo de Seguridad de Naciones Unidas 1970 (2011), 1973 (2011). Se repasa la aplicación de las citadas resoluciones donde se vislumbra una cierta ambigüedad que lleva a distintas interpretaciones sembrando la duda en la práctica empleada por las fuerzas de la coalición internacional. Todo ello se estudia desde el punto de vista de la moral y la ética de la guerra justa dejando los aspectos legales para los especialistas del derecho internacional.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Libyan conflict, resulting in the overthrow of Muammar Gadafi, this article analyses the actions carried out by the international coalition and NATO in accordance wit United Nations Segurity Council Resolutions' 1970 (2011), 1973 (2011). This analysis is conducted from a Just Ward theory and Responsibility to Protect point of view. The application of the aforementioned resolutions is reviewed. A certain ambiguity is glimpsed tha leads to different interpretations, sowing doubt in the actions executed by the international coalition forces. All the above is studied considering the moral and the ethics of Just Ward, leaving the legal aspects aside for the experts in International Law.
