In this paper we intend to study the notion of individuality in relation to civic commitment following the thought of Victoria Camps. Firstly, we will address the concept of ethics as a moral experience to constitute the social and human condition, through the good use of virtues; then, we will deal with the concept of the individual, seeing its preponderance in our contemporary society and the constant dialectic search between personal identity and collective identities. Finally, we will look at the connections of identification and belonging of the individual being in connection with the community.
