Ante la confirmación de nuevos casos de COVID-19 en Cuba y en aras de fortalecer la seguridad y salud en el trabajo el país se ha visto sumergido en la aplicación de estrategias, controles administrativos y uso de modalidades de empleo. Estas acciones han incidido en un aumento de los riesgos psicosociales. Por lo que este artículo tiene como objetivo valorar los riesgos psicosociales contemporáneos a los que se enfrenta el trabajador, cuando realiza su actividad en las modalidades de teletrabajo y trabajo a distancia ante la actual coyuntura pandémica y su influencia en la seguridad y salud en el trabajo. Para ello fue necesario hacer uso de los métodos de investigación, análisis-síntesis, inductivo-deductivo, jurídico-comparado, observación y análisis de contenido. Como resultado se logró identificar los riesgos psicosociales más recurrentes en las modalidades de teletrabajo y trabajo a distancia, motivada por un evento excepcional, así como su patrón de comportamiento en esas circunstancias y la capacidad de reducirlo. Determinándose que los riesgos psicosociales durante la pandemia de COVID-19 en Cuba, han conducido a la necesidad de perfeccionar las normas en materia de seguridad y salud en el trabajo, conllevando la creación de mecanismos y herramientas necesarias para su reducción.
Given the confirmation of new cases of COVID-19 in Cuba and in order to strengthen safety and health at work, the application of strategies, administrative controls and the use of employment modalities have been submerged. These actions have led to an increase in psychosocial risks. Therefore, the objective of this article is to evaluate the contemporary psychosocial risks faced by the worker, when performing his activity in telework and telecommuting modalities in the current pandemic situation and its influence on safety and health at work. For this it was necessary to make use of research methods, analysis-synthesis, inductive-deductive, legal-comparative, observation and content analysis. As a result, it was possible to identify the most recurrent psychosocial risks in the modalities of telework and telecommuting, motivated by an exceptional event, as well as its behavior pattern in these circumstances and the ability to reduce it. It was determined that the psychosocial risks during the pandemic of COVID-19 in Cuba have led to the need to improve the norms on safety and health at work, leading to the creation of mechanisms and tools necessary for its reduction.
