El presente artículo hace un recorrido desde las afirmaciones y pensamientos del filósofo e historiador francés Michel Foucault en su Historia de la sexualidad II donde muestra el origen griego de la eugenesia, por lo que se vió la necesidad de hacer una investigación histórica y desde la bioética, alrededor del concepto de eugenesia hasta llegar consideraciones personales que sustentan una necesidad actual.
This article makes a journey from the statements and thoughts of the French philosopher and historian Michel Foucault in his History of sexuality II where he shows the Greek origin of eugenics, which is why it was necessary to carry out historical research and from bioethics, around the concept of eugenics until reaching personal considerations that support a current need.
