The moderating role of organizational dehumanization in the relationship between authentic leadership and organizational citizenship behaviors

    Este estudio explora el rol que juega la deshumanización organizacional en la relación entre el liderazgo auténtico y los comportamientos ciudadanos organizacionales en una muestra de 422 trabajadores chilenos, 214 hombres y 208 mujeres, con un promedio de edad de 38.96 años (DT = 11.40). Los resultados afirman que la deshumanización organizacional cumple un rol moderador entre el liderazgo auténtico y los comportamientos ciudadanos organizacionales (p < .05), desapareciendo este efecto moderador cuando la percepción de deshumanización organizacional es alta.

    This study explores the role that organizational dehumanization plays in the relationship between authentic leadership and organizational citizenship behaviors in a sample of 422 Chilean workers, 214 men and 208 women, with a mean age of 38.96 years (SD = 11.40). The results affirm that organizational dehumanization moderates the relationship between authentic leadership and organizational citizenship behaviors (p < .05) and that this effect disappears when there is perceived to be a high degree of organizational dehumanization
