The immediacy of today's society is a proven fact: if we do not know the meaning of a word, we unlock the mobile phone and quickly put the term we are looking for in a browser, and, in no more than one or two seconds, the meaning appears. Gone are the walks to the bookshelf, looking for the dictionary or the encyclopedia to find the necessary information. And this is just a simple and basic example of the speed with which we live.
Speed, immediacy ... However, that is not what applies to equality in any of its areas: at a social level in general, or at a specific level: education, justice, health, employment, home ...
Equality advances at a slow pace in a society characterized by dizzying speed that, on many occasions, overwhelms us. If we use the metaphor of the tortoise and the hare, it is not necessary to indicate who is who in this duo.
Faced with a changing society and in a continuous process of transformation, but with a dominant and testimonial patriarchal roots, the educational sector should promote actions that promote equality, where sex and gender do not determine the social, cultural and economic conditions of the persons. And there is the right tool to achieve it: coeducation, which is bringing feminism to the classroom.
Throughout the article, note a certain irony in the exposition of the ideas, because they are also thought from humor, as an instrument of liberation and creativity, which it proposes without creating disruption, but rather sympathy.
