To present investigation he/she has as central objective to verify the knowledge of the producing of the district of irrigation of Parnaíba about the rural tourism and the one that the same thinks of the tourism about their properties, and if they would be made available to join values in the formation of a possible tourist itinerary, for the to arrive such information the way of investigation of qualitative research was used, of exploratory stamp through the research field, they were interviewed 13 producers associated to the district of irrigation of different cooperatives that answered the a questionnaire with 9 question. With the questionnaire it was possible to reach the following conclusion that not to a high knowledge about the rural tourism in the more place the producers in your majority demonstrate great interest in the implantation of the rural tourism in the Tabuleiro Litorâneo Parnaíba - PI, arriving until the if she makes available to do something attraction in their properties to call the tourists' attention and of the local society.
A presente investigação tem como objetivo central verificar o conhecimento dos produtores do distrito de irrigação de Parnaíba sobre o turismo rural e o que os mesmo pensam do turismo em suas propriedades, e se eles se disponibilizariam a agregar valores na formação de um possível roteiro turístico, para chegar a tais informações foi utilizado o modo de investigação de pesquisa qualitativa, de cunho exploratório por meio da pesquisa campo, Foram entrevistados 13 produtores associados ao distrito de irrigação de diferentes cooperativas que responderam a um questionário com 9 pergunta. Com o questionário foi possível chegar à seguinte conclusão de que não há um conhecimento elevado sobre o turismo rural no local mais os produtores em sua maioria demonstram grande interesse na implantação do turismo rural no Tabuleiro Litorâneo de Parnaíba -PI, chegando até a se disponibilizar a fazer algo atrativo em suas propriedades para chamar a atenção dos turistas e da sociedade local.
