Aunque el Blockchain se ha dado a conocer inicialmente solo como la tecnología detrás del Bitcoin y demás criptomonedas, la realidad es que sus infinitas posibilidades van mucho más allá y comienzan a cambiar las reglas de juego. Aprendiendo de la experiencia regulatoria de Internet, este trabajo analiza su consideración o no como una nueva rama del derecho, conocida como lex cryptographica, y analiza sus posibles formas de regulación en función de las distintas finalidades de sus aplicaciones, de los puntos de acceso, así como los sujetos implicados.
Although the Blockchain has initially become known only as the technology behind Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, the reality is that its infinite possibilities go much further and begin to change the rules of the game. Learning from the regulatory experience of the Internet, this work analyzes whether or not it is considered a new branch of law, known as lex cryptographica, and analyzes its possible forms of regulation based on the different purposes of its applications, access points, as well as the subjects involved.
