El pasado 30 de enero de 2021 el Gobierno publicó en el Boletín Oficial del Estado el Real Decreto 1/2021, de 12 de enero, por el que se modifica el Plan General de Contabilidad y sus disposiciones complementarias con la finalidad de adaptar la normativa contable española a dos normas internacionales de contabilidad adoptadas por la Unión Europea, la NIIF-UE 9, «Instrumentos financieros», y la NIIF-UE 15, «Ingresos procedentes de contratos con clientes», que entraron en vigor en los ejercicios iniciados a partir del 1 de enero de 2018 para la formulación de las cuentas anuales consolidadas de las sociedades con valores admitidos a negociación. El objetivo de este artículo consiste en desgranar los cambios más relevantes, con las limitaciones que implica abordar el análisis desde una perspectiva general.
On January 30, 2021, the Government published in the Official State Gazette the Royal Decree 1/2021, of January 12, which modifies the General Accounting Plan and its complementary provisions in order to adapt the Spanish accounting regulations to two international accounting standards adopted by the European Union, IFRS-EU 9, «Financial instruments», and IFRS-EU 15, «Income from contracts with customers», which entered into force in the accounting years beginning after the 1st January 2018 for the formulation of the consolidated annual accounts of the securities companies admitted to trading. The objective of this article is to describe the most relevant changes, with the limitations of approaching the analysis from a general perspective.
