La Ley de las XII Tablas estableció dos principios en materia de Derecho sucesorio: el principio de igualdad entre sexos y el principio de libertad de testar. El paterfamilias conjuga ambos principios al planificar su sucesión. En el presente trabajo, a partir de la práctica testamentaria, estudiamos el lugar destinado a las hijas en la sucesión del patrimonio familiar.
The XII Tables Law established two principles as far as estate Law is concerned: the equality between both sexes and the freedom of wills.
