En este artículo se presenta la correspondencia, hasta ahora inédita, que mantuvieron el malagueño Bernabé Fernández-Canivell y el mexicano Andrés Iduarte entre 1936 y 1974. Es de especial interés, pues a través de ésta se verifica la difícil situación que se vivió cuando se desató la Guerra Civil. Se pone, asimismo, en evidencia la importancia que han adquirido –en todos los tiempos– las redes: esas redes que conforman conocidos, amistades, personas de renombre, cargos políticos que componen las altas esferas del poder y, que en situaciones de verdadera gravedad, pueden ayudar a quien puede recurrir a ellos. Esos nombres que forman parte de la historia de la literatura española del grupo del 27 están aquí, así como también los fundadores –únicos y verdaderos– de la vanguardista revista Litoral.
Y en cuanto al mundo de la Hispanoamérica vivida por Iduarte están también nombres, como Neruda, que resuenan no sólo por su obra o su sueño, sino por su vivir. El trabajo incluye índice de envíos e índice onomástico de personas citadas en las cartas
This article presents the correspondence, until now unpublished, maintained between Bernabé Fernández-Canivell and Andrés Iduarte. It is of special interest due to the diffulties to verified the situation that was experienced when the Civil War broke out. It is also evident the importance in all the times get social networks: those networks that make up acquaintances, friends, renowned people, political positions that make up the highest spheres of power and, that in situations of real seriousness, they can help who can turn to them. And those names that are part of the history of Spanish literature of the Generation group of 27 are here, there are also the founders -unique and true- of the avant-garde magazine Litoral. And as for the world of Spanish America lived by Iduarte there are also names, like Neruda, that resound not only for his work, or his dream, but for his living.
