Francesco Biagi
The aim of this article is to rediscover the Henri Lefebvre’s contribution in the debate about the rural question, and then to connect it with the most famous Lefebvre’s urban studies. The author is among the most original readers of the rural space, at least among the contempo-rary thinkers, because he did not limit himself to registering the decline of the peasant univer-se, as the Edgar Morin’s research, but he was a brilliant interpreter about the fordist urbaniza-tion process of the countryside in the second half of the Twentieth Century.
