This study examines the connection between reading and writing by using Corpus to teach Spanish as a foreign language in Taiwan. Reading provides essential knowledge and information related with grammar, vocabularies and sentence for a written text. Therefore, reading and writing complement each other in such a way that they give the language teacher more opportunities to create a dynamic classroom atmosphere and the learners more opportunities to practice their skills in learning how to describe, narrate as well express their feelings. In this paper, first of all we will briefly revise the interaction of reading and writing as well as the processes of writing in Spanish as a foreign language. Secondly, we will summarize the aspects that are relevant to the language structures used in a text, which will allow the learners to generate and organize ideas for their compositions, and to apply the strategies they will need in order to write efficiently. Finally, we will offer two models to help the students write in classroom by basing on the results gained from the linguistic corpora for the Taiwanese learners of Spanish.
