Los libros de doctrina o tratados pocas veces se hacen cargo de todas las conside - raciones teóricas que están involucradas en exponer una materia. Estas conside - raciones, por consiguiente, tienden a volverse una rutina que se repite sin muchas consecuencias. El propósito de este trabajo es presentar tres modelos con los que dentro de nuestra tradición, la latinoamericana, se han pensado las reglas sobre matrimonio, divorcio y paternidad. El fin último es enriquecer el debate contem - poráneo sobre la reforma de estas reglas al proporcionar herramientas, argumen - tos y perspectivas sobre los límites y oportunidades de cada modelo
Treatises and handbooks rarely account for all the theoretical considerations in - volved in the presentation of a topic. These considerations, therefore, tend to be - come a routine that is repeated with little or no effect. The goal of this paper is to present three models that have been used to construe and expound doctrine on ru - les concerning marriage, divorce and parent child relationships in the Latin Ame - rican Tradition. Lastly, my intention is to enrich the contemporary debate on the reform of these rules by providing tools, arguments and perspectives on the limits and opportunities of each model
