Created by the Marine Stewardship Council, a session on ‘Oceans in the science curriculum’ at the ASE Annual Conference 2018 showcased a brand new film told through the eyes of a teenage girl, using live action and animation to explore the science of sustainable fishing for key stages 3 and 4 (ages 11–16). New learning resources, including games and discussion ideas, can help science teachers embed ocean sustainability into the curriculum. Try out the resources and take young people into the wild to learn about the science behind ocean sustainability.
