Bajo la óptica postmoderna, la noción de Sujeto ha perdido su carácter esencial y su estado ontológico de terreno incuestionable. Hoy, el sujeto es visto como una entidad fracturada y dividida, y lejos de ser el fundamento de las relaciones sociales, se ha exhibido como una entidad construida a partir de la emergencia de una sociedad que está vacía de fundamentos eternos. La visión de Levinas ha examinado en profundidad la crítica sobre el tema. Además, he propuesto una solución al problema del vínculo social, el lenguaje como articulación de un mundo social y la experiencia del otro como una experiencia de contingencia, pero comprometida con la marginación y el dolor del otro. Under postmodern optics, the Subject notion has lost its essential character and its ontology status of unquestionable ground. Today, the Subject is seen as a fractured and divided entity, and far from being the ground of social relationships, it has been exhibited as an entity constructed out of the emergency of a society that is empty of eternal foundations. The Levinas' vision has examined in depth the criticism on the subject. Also, he proposes a solution to the problem of social link the language as articulation of a social world and the experience of the other as an experience of contingency, but committed to the margination and pain of the other. This article is an approach of Levinas ' theory as well as an invitation to meditate on the subjectivity outside essences and to think in tight relation with the language and the ethics of the other.
