The aim of this article is a multidisciplanary aproximation to the most important oral situation in local administration, the plenary session. We consider different legal, situational, discursive and stylistic aspects to complete the knowledge of this speech performance. In one hand, we analyse legal questions who confer importance to this performance with special incidence in linguistical consequences. Also, we comment the criterion that affect composition of official minutes. And in other hand, we describe this communicative situation in terms of two of the most important models (Hymes i Biber)
