El artículo parte de las múltiples transformaciones que en la actualidad experimentan los medios de comunicación en general, y la radio en particular, para plantearse la pregunta de si la radiodifusión clandestina sigue siendo un género radiofónico vivo, útil, necesario, o si por el contrario forma ya parte del pasado. El autor se inclina por la primera hipótesis. Para explicar su postura, analiza las características principales de la radiodifusión clandestina, compara las circunstancias políticas y técnicas en las que nació con las actuales y esboza algunas posibles transformaciones que afectarán a este género en los próximos años
The article is based on the multiple transformations currently experienced by the media in general, and radio in particular, to ask the question of whether clandestine radio broadcasting is still a live, useful, necessary radio cathegory or, on the contrary, it belongs to the past. The author opts for the first hypothesis. To explain its position, he analyzes the main characteristics of clandestine broadcasting, compares the political and technical circumstances in which it was born with the current ones, and outlines some possible transformations that will affect this genre in the coming years.
