La educación infantil: el inicio del aprendizaje de las competencias básicas

    De alguna manera el aprendizaje de competencias siempre ha estado presente en España en todas las etapas del sistema educativo. Pero han sido el desarrollo del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior y el movimiento educativo integrador europeo, centrado en el aprendizaje de competencias y en la mejora de la competitividad, lo que han favorecido que las competencias constituyan, actualmente, el eje central de la Educación. Esto es algo que se pone de manifiesto en la legislación educativa general y en la específica de cada etapa, desde la Educación Infantil hasta la Educación Superior, sobre todo la que surge a parir del año 2005. Contrariamente a lo que se piensa, la Educación Infantil (de 0 a 6 años) constituye la etapa del desarrollo en la que se ha de iniciar con rigor y fluidez el aprendizaje de competencias, haciendo posible el aprendizaje y el desarrollo posterior, o comprometiéndolos.

    Este artículo presenta las competencias motrices, cognitivas, afectivas y sociales que los niños deben aprender hasta los seis años, según lo dispuesto en la legislación educativa que regula en España la etapa del desarrollo infantil.

    Somehow the competence learning always has been present in Spain in all the educational system stages. The European Space of Higher Education development and the European educational integrator movement, centred on the competence learning and on the competitiveness improvement, have made possible that the competences constitute nowadays the central element of the Education. This is revealed in the general education legislation and in the specific one of every stage, from the Pre-School (Nursery) Education up to the Higher Education, especially from the year 2005. Contrary to what is thought, at the Pre-School Education (from 0 to 6 years) has to begin with rigor and fluency the competences learning, making possible the learning and the later development, or compromising them. This article presents the motive, cognitive, affective and social competences that the children must learn 2 up to six years, as arranged in the educational legislation that regulates in Spain the stage of the Pre-School and infantile development.
