Este trabajo concibe la formación profesional continua como una institución orientada a mantener la capacidad laboral del trabajador. Analiza todas las fuentes reguladoras de la misma en el Derecho suizo, con inclusión de los acuerdos negociados entre los interlocutores sociales, y especialmente los declarados de eficacia general. El principal reto a que se enfrentan estas fuentes es el del déficit de mano de obra existente en diversos sectores productivos suizos.
This paper conceives the continuing vocational training as and institution aiming at maintaining the employee's labor ability. It analyzes the whole sources ruling such institution in the Swiss Law, including the agreements bargained by social partners, and specially those having general efficacy. The main challenge faced by these sources is the manpower deficit existing in a number of productive Swiss sectors.
