Este artículo busca hacer un homenaje al pensador italiano Norberto Bobbio, a diez años de su muerte. Después de una breve semblanza introductoria de su vida y obra, se hace un recorrido a través de algunas tesis sobre su concepción política. Por un lado, se analizarán las dos ramas de la historia de las ideas políticas: la política como conciliación, que busca las bases del entendimiento entre individuos, y la política como conflicto entre intereses que nunca encuentran un punto de reposo. Por otro, se tratarán las relaciones entre la moral y la polí- tica, que Maquiavelo distinguió, en opinión de Bobbio, para separar la esfera religiosa de la civil, lo público de lo privado. Por último, se hará un breve repaso por las relaciones entre las dos caras de una misma moneda, política y derecho, para señalar su interdependencia y resaltar el dominio que debe tener el segundo sobre la primera.
This article seeks to render tribute to the Italian philosopher Norberto Bobbio, ten years after his death. After a brief introductory biography of his life and work, we will take you through some thesis on his political conception.
First, we analyzed the two branches of the History of Political ideas: Politics as reconciliation, seeking the foundations of understanding between individuals, and politics of conflict of interests that can never find a resting place. Second on the relationships between morality and politics will be discussed, especially that of Machiavelli will be distinguished, according to Bobbio, in order to separate the religious sphere of the civil law, public and the private. Finally, we will briefly review the relationship between the two sides, of the coin, politics and law, to emphasize their interdependence and highlight their domain that should place more enfaces on the second over the former.
