Conformación de identidades juveniles: ñeros, cultura proscrita en una ciudad colombiana

    Los ñeros en Bucaramanga, Colombia, son jóvenes que se caracterizan entre varias cosas por su forma y estilo para vestir, los colores y accesorios que utilizan y las acciones violentas que cometen entre ellos mismos y contra la sociedad. Los objetivos buscan alcanzar su identificación sociodemográfica, la descripción de su lenguaje o jerga, sus elementos visuales y de su comportamiento en el grupo. La metodología que siguió esta investigación fue cualitativa apoyada en la etnografía, mediante la aplicación de técnicas como observación participante y entrevista estructurada. El estudio advierte que los ñeros son un grupo juvenil no legitimado por la sociedad dominante, lo cual los sitúa como una cultura proscrita. Las nuevas configuraciones realizadas al leguaje, las estéticas visuales y el comportamiento, se erigen como referentes al momento de conocerles al transitar la ciudad y estos elementos, se convierten en caminos para comunicar sus sentires e incidir en la sociedad, en el mismo momento en que por esto se les excluye y rechaza

    The ñeros in Bucaramanga, Colombia, are characterized by their form and style to wear, colours and accessories they use, and them to commit violent acts between themselves and against society.

    This led to the formulation of the research entitled "Cultural practices about ñeros in Bucaramanga" whose objectives sought to achieve its socio-demographic identification, establishment of their actions as a group, knowledge of its forms of communication and identifying their identity elements.

    The methodological route taken by this qualitative research was supported in ethnography, by applying techniques of social research, such as participant observation and structured interview guide. The study failed that the ñeros are a group not legitimized by the dominant society, which makes them an outcast culture. The new settings made to language, visual aesthetics and behavior stand as concerning the time to meet you when transiting the city and these elements become ways to communicate their feelings and influence in society, at the same time by that they are excluded and rejected
