Este artículo es resultado de una investigación realizada en el centro histórico de la ciudad de Bogotá, en la plaza del Chorro de Quevedo, donde confluyen una serie de prácticas y dinámicas históricas, sociales, culturales y económicas. Se describen las principales influencias teóricas y conceptuales que se consideraron en la interpretación de este espacio urbano desde diferentes enfoques sociológicos; se presentan las diferentes metodologías utilizadas, principalmente de corte cualitativo; y se dan a conocer los resultados en las cinco líneas del proyecto: hibridación sociocultural;
mercado cultural; cuerpo, arte y política; acoso sexual callejero y narcoturismo.
This article is the result of research realized in the historical center of the city of Bogotá, it is the Plaza del Chorro de Quevedo, where there come together a series of practices and historical, social, cultural and economic dynamics. The main theoretical and conceptual influences that were considered in the interpretation of this urban space from different sociological approaches are described; the different methodologies used are presented, mainly qualitative; and disclose the results in the five lines of the project: cultural hybridization; cultural market; body , art and politics; street sexual harassment and drug tourism.
