Cordoba treasures a significant example of nobel civil architecture built between the 15th to 20th centuries. It is one of the most important artistic-historical areas of its heritage. However, even though part of its historical center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it must be underlined that the signaling, study, documentation and names of many of its palaces and stately houses are defective, limited and different. A thirty properties were chosen from almost a hundred in order to exemplify all the current lacks the cultural and tourist dissemination of these properties. The problems are diverse: many of them have no visible signs or descriptions; others are poorly named, poorly labeled or poorly signposted; another group has just an unnecessary, incomplete or incorrect description; and finally, among those who are properly signposted, we find an excessive and unintelligible aesthetic and typological variety of signs as well as in the advertising and descriptive panels. Thus, two essential action plans are proposed when it comes to value this artistic and historical properties. 1. To value the urgent need to transfer all the historical and documentary scientific knowledge obtained by researchers as well as to diagnose and order all that remains to be done, for its value in the dissemination culture and tourism. 2. To review, correct and coordinate their urban signals according to a coherent context: a. Names b. Chronological, genealogical, historical, heraldry, artistic and architectural description of the property. c. Signal type, size, location and unification of the criteria.
