Repasa la trayectoria del proceso de inclusión de la participación política de las mujeres venezolanas y su visibilización, producto de una constante lucha por ser reconocida, aceptada y respetada; de hecho, la ciudadanía no pudo ser ejercida sino hasta 1945, cuando la Constitución reconoció el derecho al sufragio de la mujer. El cambio constitucional de los años noventa sentó las bases teóricas para construir un modelo social incluyente que garantizase la participación en condiciones de igualdad y, mejor aún, en condiciones de justicia; no obstante, ha sido en muchos casos gracias a las resoluciones o jurisprudencia dictadas por el Consejo Nacional Electoral, que las mismas se han hecho respetar
It reviews the history of the process of inclusion of women's political participation and visibility in Venezuela as a result of a constant struggle to be recognized, accepted and respected, in fact, citizenship could not be exercised until 1945, when the Constitution recognized the right of suffrage for women. The constitutional change of the 90’s laid the theoretical basis for building an inclusive social model that ensures the equal participation and better yet, fairness.
