When moving from a market demand, where everything is sold at a discount market, where there is everything, companies have faced a new challenge, not just to have a good product and make it properly, but it has to be competitive, ie, it must have some advantage that makes them better than other products on the market (Porter, 1998).
In this paper we describe a model proposed by Lu Dawei, Betts & Alan Simon Croom (2011) called the World Class Diamond and finally study their applicability to SMEs.
