These paper intends to make a refl ectionon the identifi cation and characterizationof relations between business strategies andsome development practices (training andcareers management) for highly qualifi edprofessionals in automotive parts industrycompanies. The research method used wasthe survey. The study covers 72 companies.Results suggest that the developmentmanagement practices for highly qualifi edprofessionals present differentiationsaccording to business strategies in theautomotive parts industry companies. Weconclude that the automotive parts industrycompanies, when possessing differentbusiness strategies, also possess differentforms to praise these same strategies,which support and are supported bysome different development managementpractices, namely to the training and careersmanagement.
