We argue that our object is characterized by a junction of discourses affiliated with a complex intertextual network. Thus, the newspapers cartoons are linked to other sayings, which were formed throughout history. From a discursive perspective, we want to understand the carnivalized constructions of Lula and the ideological affiliations that allowed the publication of this contents in three newspapers from northeastern Brazil.
