    En el artículo se aborda el proceso de formación de la cultura artístico-literaria  desde la biblioteca universitaria y su influencia en la preparación académica de la comunidad universitaria, formación general integral y enriquecimiento cultural. Se analizan los antecedentes históricos del proceso de formación de la cultura artístico _ literaria cubana desde la biblioteca universitaria y se señalan referentes  sociológicos, gnoseológicos, psicológicos y pedagógicos de este  proceso de formación.

    In the article the formation process of the artistic – literary culture from the university library is discussed and its influence in the academic preparation of the university community, an integral and general formation and cultural enrichment.The historic background of the formation process of the Cuban artistic – literary culture is analyzed from the university library and it is refered to sociological, gnoseologics, psychological and pedagogic referents of this formation process.
